Who operates this site

Website visits and hosting
Vercel hosts this website and processes technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and request timestamps. We use this processing to operate a reliable, secure website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site. Hosting logs follow the retention settings of our hosting service; they are not used as an advertising audience.
Optional analytics
With your consent, we use a dedicated Google Analytics 4 property, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand page visits and which navigation, contact and specialist-site links are selected. After a contact form is accepted, we record a controlled lead event. Tracking is enabled only on the production veda.org.uk site when configured. Rejecting analytics does not affect your use of the site.
Events contain controlled page paths, link categories and the contact form identifier. We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form contents or URL query strings in analytics events. A referring URL is reduced to an external origin and same-site or unsafe values are discarded. Google processes technical connection and device information when analytics is loaded. Advertising features and cross-domain tracking are outside this site's analytics setup.
Storage and retention
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for 182 days. The analytics configuration uses two-month retention for user-level and event-level data; this does not apply to aggregated standard reports. Google Analytics cookies may last up to two years, subject to browser restrictions and withdrawal. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Contact and privacy requests
If you email us or submit our contact form, we process your name, email address, optional company name and message to respond and manage the request. Please include only information needed for your enquiry. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle it and meet applicable legal obligations. Form enquiries are sent through Resend to our team inbox, and a confirmation containing your enquiry is sent to the email address you provide. We do not store enquiry content in a website database or include it in analytics. Temporary, hashed network identifiers help limit repeated submissions.
Service providers and other websites
Vercel, Google and our email delivery provider Resend may process information outside the UK. Applicable provider agreements and transfer safeguards govern this processing. Links to Veda AI, Veda Software and LinkedIn lead to separate websites with their own privacy and cookie notices.
Your choices and rights
Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to reject analytics or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops future collection and removes applicable first-party analytics cookies; it does not undo processing already performed. Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing. Contact hello@veda.org.uk. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
