01Your choice

Veda Software and Veda AI Ltd own this website. We use a first-party preference control. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load only after you accept analytics, and only when analytics is enabled on the production veda.org.uk site. Rejecting has no effect on access to the site.

02Remembering preferences

The local storage entry veda-consent records your acceptance or rejection, the choice version and when you chose. It expires after 182 days. Invalid, outdated or expired choices cause us to ask again. This storage is needed to remember your privacy preference and is not used for advertising. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current page session and may need to be repeated.

03Optional Google Analytics cookies

When enabled with consent, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* first-party cookies to distinguish visits and maintain session information. Their default lifetime can be up to two years, subject to browser limits. Analytics reports page views and controlled navigation, contact and specialist-site link selections. A lead event is recorded only after this site's contact form receives an accepted response. These selections are not evidence of an enquiry or purchase on a sister site. Referrers are reduced to external origins before they are sent.

User-level and event-level analytics retention is configured to two months; aggregated standard reports are treated separately. Advertising features and cross-domain session tracking are not part of this setup.

04Change or withdraw consent

Select Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page, then Reject analytics. We stop collection, clear applicable analytics cookies and, when Google has already loaded, refresh the page to unload it. Previously collected information is not automatically deleted by withdrawal. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser; doing so means we will ask again.
